LAST SUPPER DANCE BAND

The Last Supper Dance Band was started in 1985,a grey day in Hull the sea threatening to flood the city,the band got together in a bombed out carpark and played an opening gig at The Adelphi,but line up changes soon followed different musical directions,the new move was back to more psychotic rock as in Dr. Lobotomy,Dumb Man Scream.

After a few intense years the band blew itself apart and that looked to be it,ambushed on the Freedom Road. Well in 1992,Erik met up Archie and Dezz again, Dezz an ex bike racer had been touring Japan with the then legendary COLOUR BLIND LEGENDS,in Japan he ran into an old school friend Archie who was touring there with Human Rights,when the tours finished those bands just fell apart, Jimmy Jo the lead singer with the Human Rights had overdosed on the plane home,the keyboard player and bass player of COLOUR BLIND LEGEND were busted at Bangkok,and executed.

 Dezz and Archie landed back in England and they went back to Hull which is where Erik ran back into them,they started jamming,and were soon doing little gigs round East Yorkshire,just for fun,they were playing in York one night when Karl who they had known for years dropped in for the gig.He'd been playing the organ in an Afghan church,but two of his bandmates' The Tripped Out Fucking Hell Band' had converted to Islam and joined the Taliban,Karl had flown out just hours after the two had died in a Taliban opium den,shortly before they were due to murder themselves,but Karl was now without a band The Tripped Out Fuckers had gone to blazes,at the gig it was decide to get him into the band,he joined and the rest is history. 

John Whitaker  played bass in the 80s and recently rejoined on trumpet,also Kim Chan who sang with LSD in the 80' is now practicing acupuncture. Kate von Gessinger who sang on New Bionic Boogie and is now singing with The Compounds. Ruth Scott has joined LSD for a recording at the moment she and her husband are touring the states with their Blues band,but will be vocalising for LSD when she's not in the Delta,At the moment LSD are waiting for their European tour to begin and looking forward to seeing everyone again....C.T
