Evan York is director and producer of From Baghdad to Hollywood: The
Lfe of Mardik Martin (Martin was the screenwriter of Raging Bull and
Mean Streets). York has produced over 50 animated short films including
The Dream Machine, a 20-episode series, and an 18-minute animated short,
7 WEAKS, for Small And Creepy Films. He taught himself stop-motion
animation.
Yorks paintings have appeared in exhibitions at prominent New York and Los Angeles galleries since 1995. He also operates York Clothing, selling hand-drawn t-shirts internationally. Steven Tyler, Janes Addiction, Billy Idol and Calista Flockhart are huge fans. Original York designs have appeared on the fashion runways of Spain, the Netherlands and Berlin. On June 13th and14th, York will be exhibiting his artwork and his clothing line at the THC EXPO in Los Angeles.
