At the initiative of the City of Charleroi and its cultural operators, Asphalt # 1 Urban Art Biennial was born in Charleroi. Besides a theatrical programming, festive, dance and academic, an important visual component is moved by BPS22 which produces a series of interventions by renowned artists (more than 13 artists Maya Hayuk, Invader, Steve Powers, Sozyone) on the walls of buildings in the center, helping to reshape the city.
