A documentary film created by veteran filmmaker Lech Kowalski about his
friend and hard partying rock God Johnny Thunders. Through archive
footage and interviews with such musicians as Dee Dee Ramone and Sylvain
Sylvain, the film covers his stint with the New York Dolls and The
Heartbreakers. It also follows his rise to fame and his decent into
heroin addiction, and the mysterious circumstances of his death in a New
Orleans hotel room in 1991. This film also contains some archive
footage and rarely seen performances at Max's Kansas City.
