The United States has one of the highest rates of gun ownership in the world, so its no wonder that the yearly NRA convention often becomes a family affair. This year Vocativ went to the convention where we met some children who are already young gun enthusiasts. There was even a special contest just for kids were the prize was, of course, a gun. Some young children told us about their gun safety courses while their parents talked about how going to shooting range is a bonding experience. We got to speak to a lot of people, but some security guards seemed a little skeptical of our presence.
