Suki Quasimodo (AKA Pamm Suki) is the solo project of artist, FROMPAMM.
At 16, she bought her first pair of decks on pocket money saved by
eating fairies on toast for 6 months, playing records to imaginary
creatures.
In 2006, she found love and happiness in UK’s Drum & Bass culture and started playing out to real creatures, opening for heavyweights like DJ Storm of Metalheadz and picking underground nights with local heroes as her choice arena.
In 2010, Suki recorded her first pirate show “すきすきだいすき” (suki suki daisuke) – later broadcasted on Sonar Real Radio Saturday evenings, effortlessly creating and exploring soundscapes from 70 ~ 175bpm.
She is 1/4 of the collective, “FFF”, as art director and co-founder, running South East Asia’s foremost all-girl DJ bootcamp, developing new waves of female talents in the electronic music industry with support from guest invitationals like Tokimonsta and Ikonika.
To date, she has recorded mixes for Subvert HQ, Darker Than Wax, Syndicate SG and Zouk – playing ghetto gigs from Hong Kong to Prague, to Berlin to the capital of the world, New York.
A regular contributor to the community’s gig flyers, releases and music labels, SUKI QUASIMODO, a gypsy traveller and all-round artist, has crafted a distinct catnip cloud of style and music for the beat huggers, ghetto geeks, jungle-lovin’, foot-steppin’ harry’s & sally’s.
