Portraits of…Italian Punk Culture From The ’80s

I could not understand a word that WRETCHED & RAW POWER were screaming in my young ears, all I knew is that I loved these two Italian bands and wanted to hear more from their scene. MRR international scene reports were our internet, and kept us connected to the growing global hardcore scene. Also, living in L.A., we were lucky and had GOLDENVOICE as our major punk show promoter, and they could afford to fly bands over for shows. This how I got to see RAW POWER, BGK, SUBHUMANS and others, but what was behind the scenes in the European or Italian punk scenes was still a mystery to us until the internet came into existence and people started sharing their photos with the world.
