A London Metropolitan Police Constable has been caught on CCTV
repeatedly punching a shoplifting woman in the face after grabbing her
by the hair and throwing her to the ground. She had allegedly bitten his
finger and told him she had AIDs. The officer was sentenced today to a
150 hour community order and suspended by the force until an internal
investigation is completed.
